buck, BUCK nasty

today i get my first mammogram, ever. the first of what will be a million. in a couple of weeks i get my first colonoscopy, and then, on the 21st, i turn 25, thus marking my step into "when you're 25, you'll have to start regular cancer screenings, you know? i mean, have you LOOKED at your family history?"

to prepare (not really, actually. it's been more to get my mom to eat, but whatever), i've been cooking nonstop for about a week. i've made 4 barefoot contessa recipes (today makes 5), 4 of my mother's favorites from her own private collection of recipes, and 1 recipe i pulled out of my ass. i've also gained a pound (yea!! bigger breasts to check!).

soon i'll go back to just eating Rickshaw for every meal, but for now, rasperry corn muffins will do just fine.
